Setting Up Subdomains
General
If you are an owner of an EUserv webspace, you have a certain amount of storage space for your website and / or web applications are available and can create for specific subdomains.
To see the content of your webspace and make externally accessible via http/https, you can create subdomains for it. This allows you to create various web sites on your web server (eg "privat.meinedomain.de" and "dienst.meinedomain.de"). Creating Subdomains
In EUserv Customer, you have the possibility to create and manage different subdomains.
Select first your webspace contract for which you want to create the subdomain.
Once you have selected your webspace contract, now click on the menu item "Subdomains" under webspace.
Here you can set up your webspace tariff subdomains. By clicking on "Create" under "New Subdomain" to go to the corresponding menu.
Creating Subdomains
In this part of the Customer EUserv you can create the desired subdomains. Each subdomain is of a fixed part - accompanied and can consist of letters and numbers - the domain (eg meinedomain.de).
In the "Destination directory" enter the subfolder to your subdomain can be brought up. Please note here that the sub-directory must already exist.
Subdomains for a contract internal domain
If you want to intrude a subdomain for a domain that belongs to your EUserv webspace, click on "subdomain of a domain that is managed by this Contract:".
In the input field you define your desired subdomain (eg subdomain.meinedomain.de).
In the back drop-down menu to select which domain your webspace EUserv tariff setting up the subdomain.
Subdomains for an external domain
If you want to intrude subdomain for an external domain that does not belong to your EUserv webspace, click on "subdomain of externally:".
In the input field you define your desired subdomain with the external domain (eg subdomain.externedomain.de).
However, be sure that the CNAME of the external subdomain pointing to the main domain of your webspace EUserv contract!
Subdomains Edit/Delete
Options to change in retrospect, click on the overview page "subdomains" to the right of the desired subdomain "Change". Do you want to delete a subdomain again, just click on "Delete".
