Dedicated Server "Filer v5 8T SSD"
Superfast SSD based Storage - Server with full Root - Access to save Mass of Data
The "Filer v5 8T SSD" is equipped with an Intel XEON E3-1230v2, 32GB ECC DDR3 RAM and 4x 2 TB SSDs and is based on a single socket mainboard platform of the manufacturer Supermicro. The filer is connected to the Cisco based EUserv network with 1GBit / s.
The CPU supports virtualization, with the built-in hard disks a software-raid is possible for increased data security (Raid 1, 5, 6) or performance (Raid 0 or 10).
The server is ideally suited as a storage server e.g. for external data storage (online backups) or as a reliable file server within a server network, e.g. VLAN supplies other EUserv hosted servers with data. Virtualized environments with large virtual disks are just as possible as streaming audio or video files. The server is compatible with VMware or XENserver.
